The full-service bakery, coffee shop and dessert lounge showcases the talents of our Pastry Chefs with an array of cakes, pies, cupcakes, chocolates, cookies and lots more (including, of course, a great selection of breakfast pastries)! Everything on the buzz menu — from scones to truffles, tarts to cinnamon rolls — is made from scratch in house using only the highest-quality ingredients available. This attention to detail carries over to the coffee bar at buzz, which features illy coffee. This Italian company is known worldwide for its uncompromising quality, and you’ll taste the difference in every sip.

From Points North (Arlington & Washington, DC)
Take GW Parkway south toward Alexandria/Mount Vernon. Bear right at the exit for Slaters Lane. Turn right at the stoplight and cross the railroad tracks. At the first light, turn right onto Potomac Greens and you’ll see us on the corner.
From Points South (Alexandria & The Beltway)
Take Route 1 North through Old Town heading toward Crystal City. Turn right onto Madison Street. Turn left onto Columbus Street. Bear left onto Powhatan Street. Turn right onto Slaters Lane and you’ll see us on your left at the intersection of Potomac Greens Drive and Slaters Lane.
Parking
There is parking available on the street and in the lot behind the shopping center. If you park in the neighborhoods surrounding buzz, please be courteous to our neighbors!
Taking Metro
Walking from the Braddock Road station (yellow/blue line):
Head north on West Street to Madison Street. Turn right onto Madison and go two blocks to Henry Street. Turn left walking along Route 1. Cross Route 1 at the McDonald's and go to your left along Route 1, veering off to your right at the bridge construction onto Slaters Lane. Continue down the hill, crossing Powhatan Street and continuing around the bend. Buzz is on the corner of the intersection at Slaters Lane and Potomac Greens Drive.

Buses from the Braddock Road station:

From DC using the Metro Bus:
The 11Y metro bus route runs from Washington, DC, to Alexandria and the Alexandria DASH bus stops right across the street from the shop.
